The Augustus Dean Witter Foundation is dedicated to improving lives through service and stewardship. Guided by family legacy, the Foundation supports causes that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.

We serve individuals with autism, support the mental health of those who have served in the military, and provide assistance to widows and children of the fallen. Each initiative reflects a commitment to dignity and care.

Beyond direct human impact, the Foundation also invests in land conservation and the preservation of places of historical and religious significance, ensuring that heritage and natural beauty are protected for future generations.

The Foundation is chaired by Michael D. Witter, the last born grandson of Dean Witter. Sherry Pryor Witter serves on the Board, and Augustus Witter, the last born great grandson of Dean Witter, continues the family tradition of stewardship.
